The Day 5 exercise for the 31 Days to a Better Blog Challenge, was to conduct an audit on my About page on my blog. I thought this would be a really nice easy one to knock out in 30 minutes this morning. Boy was I wrong! 5 hours later, and about to get off my butt and go do my housework and washing! Harder than I thought to be honest. After having put it together and posted it it, I have read back through the directions from Darren Rouse (31 Days to a Building a Better Blog) on what I was meant to do, I suspect I may have missed the mark slightly.
Additionally, after reviewing the updated About pages of other participants of the chocolate challenge I suspect I have been too verbose as well.
I may need to go back and cut down the waffle, and tighten up what I was meant to do - but for now, I just cant be bothered. Washing machine and vacuum cleaner are calling my name and I still have something like 14 days to catch up on

I absolutely burst out laughing when I saw your about me page - I thought it was so funny. You are right - it is a bit long. I know Darren says introduce yourself first - but your picture has already done that.
I would move what this blog is about to below the picture and then follow on with the remainder. This way they know what your blog is about and can choose to read more about you.
Loved the colour schemes.

LOVE the picture. Agree with Sue, the blog focus should move up. It is very funny and engaging. Keep up that tone and you should get all sorts of people reading your blog, assuming of course you can apply the engagement to all things technical. Bring it on.
Give it up with the housework doing the chocolate challenge. I looked down yesterday and my cat was lying in a pile a dirt…..and then I noticed it wasn’t just a pile, it was the whole floor. When did that happen? Has it been so long……….
