Better late than never – The 31 Days to a Better Blog Chocolate Challenge

Posted by: Sue Hickton | August 18, 2007 | 10 Comments |

Well after watching GoodSue and Frances involved in this challenge for the last few weeks, I have been tempted at various points to get involved.  At 11 pm on a Saturday night (as GoodSue says, I have no life) I have decided to throw my hat in the ring.

There are a few proviso’s of course:

1) No way in hell this will be complete by 31 August, as I leave WA on Wed morning at 6am for 10 days [footy in melb - the mighty eagles -then a dive trip cuddling great white sharks in south Aust]

2) Ergo not going to win chocolate – but this is not a motivator, and am on an abstinence from all things caffeine at the moment including chocolate (a good thing).

3) I will do all 31 days, but not necessarily in that time frame – the post Frances did recently on blogging in her own time has inspired me to do 31 days in my own time.

4) Looking at the first few challenges, I may be required to do a few days arse up – so to speak – I tend to generate a traffic of one – from my own ip addy if u get my drift.

Game on I guess – how many can I get down before I crash for the night hmmm?

Hi Laura – thanks for the welcome! Feeling sleep deprived already lol. Have been following your journeys over the last few weeks – you guys have forged new roads, I have been learning a LOT! Hope you get some value out of my somewhat erratic learning in the next few weeks…
Cheers, Evil Sue

OK, now you have four. So you have the choc challenge after you along with those sharks….

Cuddling great whites! You have to be kidding … OK, this means you are one tough cookie, so doing the challenge will be a cinch. Welcome on board!

hehe think the sharks might be easier! I took that shot above – got some more on my flickr site (linked on blog) from last trip with them in 2004. Flickr will get the proverbial flogging when I get back, so you should see a heap more pics! – by which time of course, I will be even MORE behind on my challenge!

Hi Sue,
Welcome to the challenge. I look forward to having you in the group and reading about your journey.

I’m usually not a fan of the gradient fill, but I love it on your blog. It’s so fresh.

Hi Sue,
I can’t find the RSS feed link? Do you have one?
Alex

Argh now Alex if you were using Google Reader this would not be an issue because it automatically finds the feed based on the URL. I believe that is another point to Sue for Google Reader 1+ Google Reader 0 NetVibes
