31 Days to a better blog – Days 1 & 2 on hold

Posted by: Sue Hickton | August 18, 2007 | 3 Comments |

Days 1&2 of the 31 Days to a Better Blog Challenge would have me email a new reader and then do a first time reader audit of my blog.  Given I currently only have 3 readers [1) me 2) GoodSue and 3) Frances] this challenge poses a slight problem from the outset.

I will need to retrospectively do 1 and 2 in the event I get other readers.

Well I suggest that you decide on a topic for your blog and start posting on your niche area :)

Lots of opportunity in your niche. At least here in US, many university profs have been struggling/battling with WebCT and Blackboard. I think they will gladly embrace any alternative if they understand how to. Even just how to think about it. How does the conversion work from traditional syllabi to online engagment?

Hi Christine – yup heaps LOL think thats my problem. I have extensive experience in WebCT and now Bb. Our org has now incorporated podcasts, blogs and wikis into Bb for use by academics with their students. I need to apply obviously to the PD of staff – but its all teaching and learning – same dog, diff fleas so to speak. Glad to hear I am not the only one working on it. Have many ideas in my head on this subject for last several months that are starting to take shape. Going to guinea pig on several staff in Sept/Oct and will be blogging about it :) . Hope some value for readers.
